We had a great experience purchasing a car. Kevin, our salesman, was very professional and knowledgeable. I've bought many cars in my Life. He's easily in my top 3 of salesman. Jeff in finance was great well. They were very fair on the vehicle price and our trade. An absolute superb dealership. I highly recommend buying a car here. I'm not sure the entire buying process could've been any easier. I've never bought a vehicle from any Murdoch dealer. This was our first experience and it was great.

Buying a used car from JR Nelson at Murdock Hyundai Lindon was an excellent experience. I've had plenty of the typical scammy interactions with car salesman before and there were none of those vibes here with JR. He was patient, accommodating, and really worked with me to get the price I wanted for my trade in and for the vehicle I was purchasing. I was purchasing remotely, so it was very important that I felt confident in the dealership and salesperson. Can't say enough good things. Great experience, I'd highly recommend JR and Murdock Hyundai.

Horrible Service again!! If I could give them 0 stars I would. Another horrible experience. We will not use Hyundai of Lindon Service again. I will also not purchase another Hyundai. Service Representatives do not communicate with you and they are extremely slow.
We brought our car in because of a check engine light. After repairs, the check engine light was still on. I brought it back to the dealership the next day and told them I could just wait, but they said it would not be finished that day and gave me a loaner car. The mechanic had left a plug loose and that was why the check engine light was on again. So careless work, extra trips for me and now they want to charge me for scratches on the wheel well of the loaner. If it were not for the shoddy work, I would not have needed a loaner. My car has less that 60,000 miles on it and I keep bringing it back for the same issue. We are extremely unimpressed with the service at Murdock Hyundai Lindon.
Do not take your vehicle to this service dept!! They have had my vehicle sence September 24th for what they said was a 10 day fix still dont have my vehicle back and its now December 18th.. went in for a simple transmission and radiator replacement! Ran great when it was taken to them.. now after the have broke motor it was towed to Jeep (mind you I drove it in to shop) said they didnt have tools to put it back together (mind boggling to me how they got it apart without right tools) I would never recommend this service department.
Made the deal on a 2017 Toyota Tacoma,Went to my Credit Union. While Drafting the cashers check with the salesperson on the phone to get the proper ammount of Fees ,Taxes. Licence and so on while drafting a cashiers check with my credit union manager..Setting up a time Sat Morning 11/14 /25 to pickup the truck,.Then at 6:51 PM 11/14/25 I Get a text telling me SORRY My Managers Friend just bought the truck! we had made a legal sale on.. First newer auto i was to purchase in my lifetime 80 years. Never have I Evere been shafted so bad, My Faith in people is gone.Not to have the guts or nerve to call me! MURDOCK Hyundai should be ashamed of thei selfs.Biggest let down since the Death of my Wife. HOW DARE YOU MURDOCK HYUNDAI pull such a terrible stunt.!!!~You make a Deal with the Devil Ths is what you get!! Thomas L Allred
Can I say how disappointed I am in the time it took to perform this service. I can get it if I just came in off the street, but we made an appointment. It took over 3 hours from the time I got there. It took 15 min for someone to even come out and get things started. It was an oil change and alignment. 3 hrs!! For anywhere else that would have been maybe an hr to do, probably less. When I brought this up to the Assistant Manager who was checking me out, he just said, yes this took a lot longer than it usually does. Nothing else, even when I expressed extreme disappointment. Nothing, no.. Let me see how we can make this up to you. Or hey, here is 20% off your next service to keep you as a customer. Or a I'm sorry would have been nice. He just said, yeah this took longer than it usually does. I have an appointment for our other Hyundai for some warranty work next Tuesday... Not sure, you're the dealership I want to take it to. I would not recommend their service. My time is worth more than the "free oil change they gave me and the "free alignment I purchased a few years ago. If you don't have enough people, don't take the appointment. You need more people checking in the customers. By the time he was done trying to upsell me on everything it was 30 min just to get checked in.
Buyer Beware! I cannot emphasize enough to avoid this dealership if at all possible. I am not inexperienced at purchasing vehicles or dealing with sales transactions, however this was the most unprofessional and dishonest transaction I have ever been exposed to. The sales associate was fine and did his job. It wasn't hard, I have 800+ credit, and did all the leg work myself from home and was approved for financing over the phone before ever setting foot on the lot to purchase the vehicle. I had been in a major auto accident 2 days before and made it clear that I was not able to haggle it out in person, I needed to get all the details worked out in advance and simply come in to sign papers and test drive the car. It couldn't have been easier for them. However, once I was passed over to the Finance Director the entire process was a nightmare. A "Gold Standard" extended warranty was shoved down my throat for a mere $2995 and I was told in order to qualify for a lower interest rate I was required to sign up for the warranty. The warranty itself was grossly misrepresented by the Finance Director in terms of coverage and how the program worked I found out a month later when trying to use it for a sensor that went out. I also found out that the interest rate I was promised (5.99%) for adding the $3k to the loan amount was never in fact processed by the Finance Director as stated, he signed me up for the 7.65% rate I adamantly told him I did not accept. At no point was I given copies of the paperwork I was told to sign on a tiny 4x6 screen with 8 point font which you couldn't even read. It wasn't emailed to me until after I had left the dealership. This director was so incompetent he didn't even remember to get the down payment from me despite me sitting there with my checkbook open on his desk trying to write it out for 20 minutes while he haggled over this ridiculous warranty and the APR he never ended up financing me for (5.99%). Fast forward to trying to cancel the extended warranty and big shock when I followed up, the dealership never bothered to send it to the warranty company so I'm still out $3k for nothing and had to immediately go to my credit union to refinance the car with the broken sensor for what he said he was signing me up for to begin with. Talk about one big scam. Attempts to repeatedly rectify these issues with the owner and manager have gone unanswered.
